The experience is for those 6 years old and up, but you must be 12 years old or older to drive an ATV, and 16 to drive a UTV. Explore the Sonoran Desert by ATV with a guided tour by 360 Adventures. They provide all the safety gear, plus bottled water and snacks while you’re out roaming the beautiful desert landscape. Available year round, tours are only available in the early morning hours during the summer months. The trip is for guests six-years-old and up, with guests over 12 years old climbing into the driver’s seat and preparing to wind through the desert, and its many natural features.
Desert Dog Offroad Adventures
The two-and-half hour journey you’ll take through the Sonoran Desert with Desert Dog Offroad Adventures will be one you won’t ever forget. The year-round adventure is for guests 8 years old and up, adventure awaits in the form of rock gardens, sandy washes, twists, turns, and a technical two track. Guests must be at least 16 to get behind the wheel but won’t need a driver’s license.
Time To Ride AZ
If you’ve been off-roading a while and would rather set out on your own, you can rent an ATV in Scottsdale or UTV for a full day or half day from Time To Ride AZ. The vehicles are street legal, so you can drive them off the lot to your accommodations or straight into the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Don’t worry about safety gear, as it’s included in the price of the rental.
