Celebration of Spring
We love being able to celebrate the arrival of spring here in Sedona. During your visit, you will be able to attend the Celebration of Spring. This event is put on by the City of Sedona, making it the official start of spring in the area. A Celebration of Spring is part carnival and part egg hunt that allows individuals of all ages to enjoy the fun.
Bring the whole family to this event where over 22,000 Easter eggs will be hidden in the area. The egg hunt is absolutely free for children to participate in, and they will be divided into age categories so everyone has a fair chance to grab as many as possible. Age groups will start with ages 0 to 2, followed by 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 12 to finish off the activity for the day. Children participating in the egg hunt DO need to bring their own egg basket. The egg hunt will start right at 10:30 for the youngest age bracket, so make sure to arrive on time to participate.
There will also be various other activities for the children to enjoy. This includes a petting zoo with loveable farm animals to pet. A meet and greet with the Easter Bunny will also take place so make sure to grab a pic of the kids with him! Don’t forget about the carnival rides and attractions that are an absolute blast. Cash will be needed for the carnival rides along with food and drink vendors at the event. The Celebration of Spring will be in its 13th consecutive year this spring and will take place on March 30th at Posse Grounds Park in Sedona.
