Whatever the reason, renting a luxurious, modern, and spacious accommodation for a week sounds like the perfect getaway — right?

Check out Sedona, Arizona, one of the best outdoor-centric cities in the entire United States. Sedona has a lot to offer, ranging from cafes, restaurants, and local cuisine to outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, kayaking, and bird watching. Families of all ages can come to Sedona to reconnect with nature, solo travelers can go hiking on one of the many nature trails, and couples can enjoy a romantic weekend in this cool town.
Every Home Is Different
Every one of our Sedona weekly rentals may have different styles, color schemes, and even views of the red rocks that dot our landscapes, but they do all share one common trait: one of welcoming. From their first moments inside until their final glimpse over their shoulders as they walk away when their journey is done, the welcoming feeling will keep them warm and happy. Featuring cheerful kitchens that are the heart of the home, dining spaces where guests come together for meals and companionship, and living areas with comfortable furnishings, state of the art televisions, and in many, views of the Sedona landscape that will take your breath away, our properties are designed to make guests feel at home during their extended stay. As we age, we become more adept at many things, but sleep is not one of those things, unfortunately, except when you find yourself climbing between the silky soft sheets of deluxe beds topped with premium mattresses. The combination of unbeatable comfort and neutral décor work better than any sleeping pill and you may very well consider your time with us some of the most restful weeks of your life!
The Little Extras in Our Short Term Rentals in Sedona
We all love the little extras in life, the small things that make us feel pampered, spoiled, and rich: the taste of one of those frou-frou coffees piled high with whip cream and topped with chocolate on a rainy morning, the feel of a silk blouse soft against our skin, and the ultimate luxury of sleeping in on a Tuesday because you are taking a mental health day. These are some of our favorite real-life extras, and when you choose Stay Porter and our weekly rentals, we work hard to provide you with the vacation extras that make your life special! Some are small, such as the soft and fluffy towels hanging in the bathroom or the welcome kit that ensures you have paper towels and dish soap. The larger luxury touches can include that plush sofa positioned in front of a fireplace and the television, allowing guests to watch the big game until they drift off into a decadent middle of the day nap. And the biggest extra of all? The one that costs nothing and could be considered the gift with purchase in nearly all our homes? The views that will take your breath away! As you sit out in the cool air of the morning, watching the sun rise over the red rocks, it will be nearly impossible not to feel like the richest person on earth!
Eat Like a Local
Vacation dining can be expensive, especially if you forego the use of our fully equipped kitchens and dine out for every meal, but the locals know the best places to enjoy hearty meals without the tourist prices, and we love to share secrets with our guests! Enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch at the Coffee Pot Diner, famed for its omelets and loved for its real people prices! Loud, boisterous, and serving its rich delicious coffee in unusually shaped mugs thrown on a local potter’s wheel (You can buy one as a memento of your visit!), there is absolutely nothing we don’t love about this special place, located in the shadows of Coffee Pot Rock. Burgers and barbecue are flavored with an extra pinch of love and offer a taste of the wild west at the Outlaw Grille, 250 Jordan Road. Closing at 5 PM every day, the Outlaw is perfect for lunch or an early dinner. If you are running behind and want to try something special but not all that expensive, Pump House Station Urban Eatery and Market, found at 313 AZ-179 d10, will fill you up nicely! Serving an eclectic menu out of a renovated A-frame cabin, the food is delicious and the views on the patio may just change your life.
Best Lunch Spots in Sedona, AZ
We have a few more good suggestions for lunch. Although this mid-day meal is often overlooked, lunch is what is going to keep you going after a long hike or before you cook dinner in your spacious and modern accommodation from Porter.
Pump House Station Urban Eatery and Market
Located right off of AZ 179, this unique eatery and market churns out modern American food that is known for fresh flavors, big portions, and strong drinks. There is nothing better than getting a can of ice-cold beer on draft from this urban eatery and sharing a plate of mussels, wings, or calamari with your table!
Coffee Pot Restaurant
Another great spot for lunch during the middle of the day is the Coffee Pot Restaurant. This dine-in and the drive-through option is great for those who want a quick bite to eat before heading back out to explore all that Sedona has to offer. Plus, Posse Grounds Park is located right by this lovely cafe!
Wildflower
We love Wildflower for producing high-quality bakery items that you can bring on a hike on a sunny day. Head here for bakery bread in the morning for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, or fresh food for dinner. Personally, we love coming to her for lunch for a healthy and refreshing salad or sandwich on a hot summer day.
Playing in Sedona
Many of our short term rentals in Sedona offer entertainment spaces of their own that include game rooms, game boards, hot tubs on the porch, and fire pits in the backyard, but for those looking for a little fun in town, Sedona never disappoints! Take a hike to Cathedral Point and have your breath taken away at the views that await you from the trails that lead towards the top; if you want to go all the way to the peak, however, climbing equipment and rock climbing prowess is required! Enjoy a thick and juicy steak at Steakhouse89, located at 2620 W State Route 89A, or sip wine at Vino Zona in the Tlaquepaque shopping center until long after the sun sets behind the rocks. However you choose to play during your stay, coming home to our Stay Porter Sedona weekly rentals will be one of the best parts of your vacation. If you’re looking to mix up your visit to Arizona by heading to the valley, we also recommend checking out one of our Paradise Valley vacation rentals. Wherever you’re staying, we’re confident you’ll love your rental, so reserve yours today!
